Richard Lamendin, Managing Director

Mr. Lamondin has a distinguished career in the real estate development industry.  He has extensive experience in the design, planning, construction, management, marketing, operations and promotion of high-end lifestyle-rich residential communities.  Mr. Lamondin has also been retained by lenders and investors as a trouble shooter.  For example, he was engaged by the investors of the Trump Resort (located five miles from our development) to develop a sales and marketing program for the resort when it was severely underperforming. During the past two years, Mr. Lamondin has been engaged by banks to act as a receiver on several bank-owned projects. In one bank-owned project, Hollywood Station (where he was a partner prior to the bank taking over the development), Mr. Lamondin was entrusted with the responsibility for completing construction, asset management, and sales and marketing.  To date, nearly 100 units have been sold at the development. Additionally he is currently managing and selling several bank-held assets in south Florida. 

Mr. Lamondin has also formed and managed many successful construction-related companies and has taught at New York University. He has been a member of the faculty at New York University, has sat on several advisory boards, has been a trustee for nonprofit organizations and has been the subject of numerous feature articles.  He has been recognized with many industry and community awards including “Developer of the Year” and “Deal Maker of the Year.”  Mr. Lamondin has lectured across the United States, Canada and Australia and has published numerous articles as well as authoring the book, “Back to Basics,” a no-nonsense approach to investing. 

Throughout his distinguished career both in Canada and the United States, Mr. Lamondin has been involved with 73 residential buildings producing more than 12,000 units with sales revenues exceeding $5 billion.
